Re-opening of Stationers Hall
Following a £7.5m refurbishment project, Stationers’ Hall was reopened today (4 July) by Alderman Vincent Keaveny, in his capacity as Lord Mayor of London.
I was honoured to chair the committee overseeing this significant development of the Stationers Hall site , which has been occupied by the Stationers’ Company for more than 400 years. For the complete article click below:
Election as underwarden
I was delighted to be elected Under Warden of the Worshipful Company of Stationers in July of 2022. The Company has a 600 year history which includes the invention of copyright and the maintenance of an archive of international importance to the study of the English book trade. Amongst its members have been the Novelist Samuel Richardson , the artist and poet William Blake and the publishers William Strachan and Thomas Cadell.
